Shipping & Delivery Policy
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed with Wholesale Pallet Co. are processed, shipped, and delivered. By purchasing from wholesalepalletco.com, you agree to the shipping and delivery terms outlined below.
If you have any questions about shipping, freight costs, delivery requirements, or order availability before placing an order, please contact us at +1 (228) 446-1628.
1. Service Area
Wholesale Pallet Co. provides wholesale pallet and truckload delivery throughout all 50 U.S. states and also serves international customers in more than 150 countries worldwide.
Certain destinations may require special shipping arrangements or additional freight charges. These may include:
- Remote rural locations
- Islands and offshore territories
- Limited-access properties
- Areas with restricted truck access
- Locations affected by local freight or import restrictions
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your location, particularly for an international or remote order, please contact us before completing your purchase. Our team can confirm delivery availability and provide an appropriate freight quotation.
2. Order Processing Times
Orders are normally prepared for shipment within 2 to 4 business days after payment has been successfully received and cleared.
Once payment has been confirmed, our warehouse team will:
- Prepare your pallet or truckload order
- Verify the merchandise
- Arrange pickup with the appropriate freight carrier
- Provide shipment and tracking information once the order has been collected
Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
During periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take slightly longer. If a significant delay affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
3. Shipping Methods & Freight Carriers
Wholesale Pallet Co. primarily ships pallet and truckload orders using professional freight services.
Depending on the size of the order, delivery may be completed through:
- LTL — Less Than Truckload freight
- FTL — Full Truckload freight
The freight carrier used for an order may depend on:
- Delivery destination
- Shipment dimensions
- Pallet weight
- Quantity ordered
- Carrier availability
- Delivery efficiency
- Freight cost
We reserve the right to select the carrier and shipping method we consider most appropriate for each order.
Domestic and international freight shipments may include tracking and cargo insurance during transit.
4. Freight Delivery Requirements
Because liquidation pallets and truckloads are transported using commercial freight vehicles, customers must ensure that the delivery location is suitable for freight delivery.
The buyer must provide a valid residential or commercial address that can be safely accessed by a standard freight truck.
For easier unloading, we recommend having access to equipment such as:
- Loading dock
- Forklift
- Pallet jack
If this equipment is unavailable, lift-gate delivery may be available for an additional charge.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The delivery address is accurate.
- The road leading to the property can accommodate a freight vehicle.
- Adequate vehicle clearance is available.
- No physical obstacles prevent freight access.
- Someone is available to receive and sign for the shipment.
Freight orders generally cannot be left unattended.
If delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, unavailable receiver, restricted access, refusal of delivery, or another customer-related issue, the buyer may be responsible for additional storage, redelivery, return freight, or carrier charges.
5. Shipping Costs, Surcharges & Taxes
Shipping charges are determined according to factors such as:
- Delivery destination
- Pallet weight
- Shipment dimensions
- Number of pallets
- Type of freight service
- Carrier rates
Shipping charges may be displayed during checkout or provided through a separate freight quotation before the order is finalized.
Additional freight charges may apply for services including:
Lift-Gate Service
Required in some situations where the customer does not have a loading dock or forklift.
Residential Delivery
Some freight companies apply additional charges when delivering pallets to residential addresses.
Limited-Access Delivery
Additional fees may apply to locations that are difficult for standard freight vehicles to access.
Delivery Appointments
Some freight carriers may charge for specific scheduled delivery windows.
Inside Delivery
Additional charges may apply if the customer requests that merchandise be moved beyond the normal freight delivery point.
Redelivery
If the carrier must attempt delivery more than once because the customer is unavailable or the location cannot accept the shipment, redelivery charges may apply.
The customer is responsible for applicable sales taxes, duties, customs fees, VAT, import charges, or other government fees required by the destination.
Wholesale Pallet Co. does not automatically pay or reimburse customs duties or international import charges unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
For large orders, international shipments, or full truckloads, contact us at +1 (228) 446-1628 for freight information before placing your order.
6. International Shipping
Wholesale Pallet Co. serves international wholesale buyers and may provide door-to-door delivery to supported destinations worldwide.
International shipments may include:
- Shipment tracking
- Freight coordination
- Cargo insurance during transit
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Required freight documentation
International customers are responsible for complying with the import laws and regulations of their country.
This includes responsibility for:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- VAT
- Customs clearance charges
- Product import restrictions
- Customs inspections
- Local documentation requirements
- Delays caused by customs authorities
Before ordering, international buyers should research whether the merchandise being purchased can legally be imported into their destination country.
Wholesale Pallet Co. may provide available product and shipping documentation to assist customers with customs clearance when requested.
7. Delivery Appointments & Estimated Transit Times
Many LTL and FTL freight deliveries require a scheduled appointment.
Once your shipment has been dispatched, the freight carrier may contact you directly using the telephone number provided with your order.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing an accurate telephone number
- Responding to the freight carrier
- Confirming delivery appointments
- Being available during the agreed delivery period
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are generally:
| Destination | Estimated Transit Time |
|---|---|
| Standard U.S. destinations | 3–7 business days |
| Remote U.S. destinations | 5–10 business days |
| Canada | 5–10 business days |
| Europe | 7–14 business days |
| Other international destinations | 10–21 business days |
These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Shipping delays can result from:
- Severe weather
- Freight carrier capacity
- Customs processing
- Holiday periods
- Peak shipping seasons
- Transportation disruptions
- Events beyond our reasonable control
Wholesale Pallet Co. is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages resulting from freight delays outside our reasonable control.
8. Inspection at Delivery & Damage Reporting
We take reasonable care when preparing and securing pallet shipments for transportation. However, freight damage can occasionally occur.
Customers must inspect their shipment before signing the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading (BOL).
Check for visible damage to:
- Pallet wrapping
- Boxes
- Cartons
- Pallets
- Merchandise
- Straps or other packaging
If visible damage is found:
- Clearly write the damage on the delivery receipt or BOL before the driver leaves.
- Take clear photographs and videos of the pallet and damaged areas.
- Photograph the external packaging.
- Keep all packaging materials.
- Contact Wholesale Pallet Co. as quickly as possible.
Visible shipping damage or receipt of an incorrect pallet should be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Damage discovered only after unpacking should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
When reporting a problem, provide:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photographs
- Videos where possible
- Delivery paperwork if requested
Claims submitted after the stated reporting periods may not qualify for review or resolution.
Do not dispose of damaged merchandise, pallets, boxes, wrapping, or packaging until the freight claim has been completed.
9. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss or damage may transfer to the customer once the freight carrier has collected the shipment from our facility or fulfillment location.
Where cargo insurance applies, compensation for damaged or lost merchandise remains subject to:
- Freight carrier policies
- Insurance terms
- Claim investigation
- Documentation requirements
- Carrier liability limitations
Wholesale Pallet Co. may assist customers with legitimate freight claims where appropriate, but approval or payment of a carrier or insurance claim cannot be guaranteed.
Customers purchasing particularly valuable or large shipments may wish to arrange additional freight or cargo insurance.
10. Refused, Unclaimed or Undeliverable Shipments
Customers may be responsible for additional costs where a shipment is refused, left unclaimed, or cannot be delivered because of a customer-related issue.
Examples include:
- Incorrect delivery address
- Customer unavailable during scheduled delivery
- Failure to respond to the freight carrier
- Refusal to accept the shipment
- Restricted access to the delivery location
- Failure to pay applicable freight surcharges
Charges may include:
- Return freight
- Redelivery charges
- Carrier storage fees
- Additional handling fees
If merchandise is returned, any eligible refund will normally be considered only after the shipment has been returned and inspected.
Approved refunds may exclude freight charges, storage charges, handling costs, and other nonrecoverable expenses associated with the shipment.
11. Local Pickup
Local pickup may be available for customers near our operations on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, United States.
Customers interested in collecting an order should contact us before purchasing to:
- Confirm pickup availability
- Arrange a pickup date
- Confirm loading requirements
- Receive any applicable pickup instructions
Customers collecting pallet merchandise must bring a suitable vehicle capable of safely transporting the order.
The buyer is also responsible for bringing any loading or transportation equipment required unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the merchandise has been loaded onto the customer’s vehicle.
Local pickup orders do not incur normal freight delivery charges.
